Yao Ming Married Longtime Girlfriend in Shanghai

Yao Ming took wedding pictures with his fiancée Ye Li in Lin’an City of Zhejiang Province on Monday morning, Sina.com reported today. The couple arrived at 6am and spent two hours taking pictures in scenic spots in Taihuyuan. The area is regarded as a smaller Jiuzhaigou. View their wedding photos at YaomingMania.com.

    “我都27岁了，年纪不小了，该换个绰号了。”身高2米26的姚明自出道以来，一直被外界冠以“小巨人”的绰号。 现在都27岁了，年纪不小了，当然也不算老。只是，再也不能称为小了。”
    　　至于该叫什么，姚明也没有主意。“总不能自己给自己起绰号吧！只要大家叫着顺口，就行。”

    “Yao’s birthday” and “charity” has become the talk of the town for media on September 12.
    This charity game and related events are initiated by Yao and Nash, all proceeds raised from these events will be used for charitable undertakings. Specifically, the funds will be used to support and build more Project Hope school in the poorer regions of China’s Western regions through the China Youth Development Foundation; to help impoverished girls in the Xinjiang Kezilesu Keerkzi Autonomous Region to receive education and to upgrade the facilities of schools for mentally challenged children in Western China.
